1、as做介词，意思是“作为”

as 经常在句子中出现，但是同学们总是傻傻分不清楚到底是什么意思，因为as的意思比较多。但不管哪种意思，基本上都是连词。那我们知道连词是连接两个句子的所以就有一下几种情况：

1. as表示时间（时间状语从句），意思是随着，

例如：As an increasing number of people use mobile devices to read, newspaper is gradually dis***earing.

2. as表示原因（原因状语从句），意思是由于

例如：Enjoying the first hour of the day is important as it sets the mood for the rest of the day.（享受一天的第一个小时是很重要的，因为它为接下来的一天奠定了基调。）

3. as表示方式（方式状语从句），意思是像，以...的方式，
